This least known Collection of the Museum incorporates an extraordinary group of artefacts, although these items are not commonly or easily displayed in exhibitions. The evolution of the Collection was similar to those of other collections: it started with collecting seals and stamps used by military units disbanded after the First World War. Up to the Second World War, these were gradually complemented by items originally used by the Military History Archives and the Museum.
