From the moment of the founding of the Museum, the employees have continuously collected contemporary posters and leaflets; therefore, the segment of 1918–1919 prints is remarkably rich in Hungary.
The Collection of Posters and Small Prints has a stock of nearly 24,000 artefacts. Its most spectacular part is composed of graphic and text posters, but it is dominated by the group of small-sized prints. There are separate segments for name cards, printed sheets of music, charity and cinderella stamps, blank diplomas and commemorative certificates, documents of election and invitations to exhibitions and various military events.
In addition to military documents, the Collection preserves some interesting civilian items such as the placard of the Millennial National Exhibition of 1896, as well as several name cards of politicians.
