The Collection of Fine Arts consists of objects associated with the military history of Hungary. As a result of continuous collecting, there is a stockpile of nearly 27,000 artworks that can be divided into three main groups: graphics, paintings and sculptures.
The Collection has an interesting part that does not bear an artistic value though: a group of drawings by ordinary soldiers made at the front or in captivity which tells a lot about the mentality and feelings of the common soldier.
